Thumble is an official member of the littleBits Global Community, representing the Detroit chapter.  We will host at least 8 invent-events each year, and get to participate in monthly design challenges!  To help us succeed, littleBits provides us with exclusive training, programming ideas, and event promotion on the littleBits website.  If you wish to become a member, you can join the chapter here: http://littlebits.cc/community/chapters/thumble-mobile-makerspace
What are littleBits?

littleBits is a platform of easy-to-use electronic building blocks that empower you to invent anything, from your own remote controlled car, to a smart home device.  The Bits snap together with magnets, no soldering, wiring, no programming needed.

Who are littleBits for?

They are for anyone and everyone over the age of 8 who wants to experiment with electronics, make quick electromechanical prototypes, or just explore and have fun.

Power

Blue bits, plus a power supply, provide the juice to get you up and running.

Input

Input bits are pink.  They send signals to your circuit through buttons, dimmers, and more.

Wire

Orange bits connect your circuit to other systems and let you build in new directions.

Output

Green bits are outputs, which do stuff: Light up, buzz, move…
